Wow, this place is amazing! Just explored the area around hotel a bit last night. Mongkok is so cool, it's away from the main tourist hotels so I haven't seen any tourists or tourist-traps outside at all. It's got a frenetic energy similar to manhattan and it's dense with local people and street markets. Last night we ate some delicious fish dumplings and egg-custard cups from a street vendor and had noodles and ma po dofu from a local hole in the wall restaurant. Then we both got foot massages, wandered a bit more and came back to the hotel to crash. Nam is taking some great pics that we'll put online when we get back. This place is amazing!
